I live in The Forest, just up the hill from the beach at the Forest Bay. There is a popular location on the beach where visitors like to relax, eat lunch, and have a drink. I call the place 2 Palms.
Unfortunately, there is no convenient place to dump trash, so it gets dumped in the bushes and on the beach. I have contacted the Environmental Health Unit in the Valley to provide this location with a dumpster.
I’m not sure when the dumpster will arrive, so I decided to do a cleanup. I spent several hours over two days cleaning a long section of the beach and under the bushes, especially at the 2 Palms where bottles and cans appear to have piled up over a long period of time.

2 Palms is once again a beautiful place to enjoy the beach at Forest Bay.
Enjoy your visit, but please carry away your trash until the government provides 2 Palms with a dumpster.
